Rolling Changelog 1.8.5

This is the rolling Development change log for 1.8.5
 
Changes:

         [New] - Added Global attack range value.

         [New] - all 7 attachments added to loot system. (old system, waiting on some new models)

         [New] - Maintenance mode for built items has been started. (can be Enabled/Disabled by the admin, Times can be changed by the server admins).

         [New] - Some built items can now be dismantled by players each object requires different tools to dismantle each object has a chance to break tools used. (Example Sandbag fence requires a shovel)

         [New] - New crafting Recipe Nails,(equip_metal_sheet X 1 = equip_nails X 10, Toolbox Needed, MetalSheet spawns Construction,Industrial).
         [New] - Players now respawn with a Makarov and 2 mags. (false sense of security it provides)

 

[updated] - Czech stringtables.

[updated] - Player temperature - Changed sun to +3, Changed rain to -2.5, changed Moving to +2.1. (added in vehicle check to water).

[updated] - MatchBox system reset back to 1.8.2.

[updated] - Missing strings.

[updated] - fences have been updated so they no longer take damage. 

[updated] - Loot tables updated to remove weapons with attachments you can add.

[updated] - Splints and Sepsis bandages can now be given to other players

[updated] - Only owners can dismantle built items at no chance of broken items.  

[updated] - Loot weights for loot groups.
[updated] - WoodenSplint Recipe (PartWoodPile X 2,equip_string X 1).
[updated] - Lowered Melee range. by 0.01 from 0.05 to 0.04

[Fixed] - Traps have now been rolled back to 1.8.2. 

[Fixed] - Sandbags, Hedgehogs, Wire can now be built on roads.

[Fixed] - Gate break in action is now shown to everyone but the owner of the gate.

[Fixed] - Journal entry for the new temperature disable system.

[Fixed] - Identified an out of memory issue caused by private scoped items trying to spawn. (Root cause identified Thanks to the ppl involved.)

[Fixed] - Quick fix to resolve players using an exploit to enter base's. Add report to admin also.

[Fixed] - Humanity missing variable added.

[Fixed] - Fence owners are no longer added to when other players upgrade built items.

[Fixed] - Dome tents have been added to cleanup system.

[Fixed] - Restored old low blood level effects.

[Fixed] - Identified an out of scope variable causing an issue within the gearHandler.

[Fixed] - DomeTent has now bee fixed to take damage.

 

[Removed] - loot Table Items (ItemMetalSheet(Not the one used in recipes),ItemConcreteBlock,ItemRSJ,ItemScrews).

Moving factor changed from +1.9 to +2.1
Sun factor changed from +2 to +3
Rain factor changed from -3 to -2.5

Added new in vehicle check for Water. (so in boats and flying over water will not add the - effect)

[updated] - MatchBox system reset back to 1.8.2.

Matchbox's with no qty values can now be found in loot tables, During the use of match's you have a 12% chance of lowing the remaining qty to 5 matches left. Foreach use after you will lose 1 match from the box until empty.

[Fixed] - Quick fix to resolve players using an exploit to enter base's. Added report to admin also.

 

An issue with players using an exploit to enter base's has been identified and a quick fix has been added to resolve for now. I've also added a log system to report attempts made.

[New] - Added Global attack range value.
This will allow admins to edit the attack range of zeds.
 

[New] - 7 New attachments added. (old system, waiting on some new models)
These were already done they just needed adding to loot tables.

 

[updated] - fences have been updated so they no longer take damage. 
Fences will no longer be able to take damage. Breakin system will be added soon to destroy fenchs
 

[updated] - Loot tables updated to remove weapons with attachments you can add.
Weapons like the m4a1_aim will no longer spawn they have been replaced with stock versions of them selfs this is to force players to use attachments.
 

[updated] - Splints and Sepsis bandages can now be given to other players.
Allow players to heal/fix other players.

 

[Fixed] - Fence owners are no longer added to when other players upgrade built items.

On creation  of all new base items we attach an array with the owner info. in previous versions this array was updated when other players(not the owner) upgrade a fence this leads to other problems ingame.

 

[Fixed] - Dome tents have been added to cleanup system.
Empty dome tents will now be removed as part of the normal cleanup.

Simple system to allow items placed to be gathered by others to use later.

Sandbags = Shovel

Headhog = ItemSledgeHammer & ItemCrowbar

 

         [New] - Maintenance mode for built items has been started. (can be Enabled/Disabled by the admin, Times can be changed by the server admins).

 

This can be disabled and enabled by server admins it will be disabled by default and requires a new proc to be added into your mysql DB.
 

[updated] - Only owners can dismantle built items at no chance of broken items.  

 

Place-able items can be built by anyone but only the owner can remove without any chance of tools being lost.

 

[Fixed] - Restored old low blood level effects.

 

Added the old low blood effects players request.

This would sometimes cause an issue with images on the gearmenu

Added New crafting Recipe Nails,(equip_metal_sheet X 1 = equip_nails X 10, Toolbox Needed, MetalSheet spawns Construction,Industrial).

With the new base system the need for nails is much higher allowing us to create nails from an old metal sheet.

 

Added Players now respawn with a Makarov and 2 mags.

this gives a false sense of security if used unwisely with so little ammo, but you can instantly defend yourselves from somebody with gear you happen to bump into.

 

Updated Loot weights for loot groups.

Updated Group arrays lowing some of the big group items.

 

Updated WoodenSplint Recipe (PartWoodPile X 2,equip_string X 1).

Updated we feel this should be used alot more and the old requirements where a little mad.

 

Updated Lowered Melee range. by 0.01 from 0.05 to 0.04.

Melee range is still a little too high so we are going to lower by 0.01 the bullet life until we get a good range.

 

Updated You can now turn rope into String.

Make use of an item we use as part of the trash system

 

Updated Zed Animations have been moved back to a smooth animation transition from an instant move.

We use an instant switch to move zeds into an attack stance this looks pretty bad all round and i feel it should be lowed we still have the zed counts so if players do make a mistake they can still get into trouble. Unfortunately this will make the attacks slower again.

 

Removed From loot Tables(ItemMetalSheet(Not the one used in recipes),ItemConcreteBlock,ItemRSJ,ItemScrews).

These are used for the metal fence system witch is not finished and will be removed for the time being.

[Fixed] - DomeTent has now bee fixed to take damage.

 

Removed the texture that's applied to the firelod. This should now allow the dome tent to be damaged in the same way as other storage systems
