AngryZ|DayZChernarus|1.8.6.1|UTC-11|Spawn w/Gear|Veteran+

Recommended Posts

AngryZ|DayZChernarus|1.8.6.1|UTC-11|Spawn w/Gear|Veteran+

Time zone is UTC-11

New spawns start with an AK-74, two 30-round clips, a map, a can of soda, a can of beans, flares, a bandage, and a backpack.

Vehicles are scarce and spawn in varying states of repair. The level of fuel is also random.

Side-channel is on and intended for text chat only. Voice chat is not allowed in side-channel but can be used either direct or vehicle channels. If you want to voice chat with your ‘team’ we have a TeamSpeak server:

tschi1.vilayer.com:9998

Feel free to join!!!

Other settings:

3rd Person: On
Death Messages: On
Tagging: Off
Waypoints: Off
Map Plotting: Off – A Map is just a map. You’ll need a GPS to know your exact location.
Spawn Selection: On

Though we are not technically a ‘vanilla’ server, most of our settings are ‘out-of-the-box’ DayZ Mod – Chernarus. Think vehicles and loot are scarcer than on other servers running other mods? They are. They’re meant to be. You might have to scrounge around a bit to find stuff. And if you do find a vehicle, you might have some work to do to get it going.

That’s DayZ.

Nothing is easy. Nothing is automatic. Anything ‘good’ you find really is a treasure, especially those vehicles. Zombies? Yeah. There are lots of them. And they are quite dangerous, especially in numbers. Other players, however, can be deadly and MUCH harder to predict.

Can you survive for long? Join us and see…

Finally got everything back-up and running right after a disastrous migration to 1.8.5 (nothing to do with 1.8.5 itself - just other stuff / hosting issues). We're back up and looking for players. Looking for a server? Give ours a shot.

Our server is run by admins who have been playing DayZ since the beginning. We've been playing the 'ArmA' series since way back in the OFP days.

Our server can't be called 'Vanilla' because we have made a few modifications. We think it's tough without being unfair (in terms of a new player's opportunity to survive, find loot, evade/kill zombies, and get vehicles). Don't expect to show up and have full, hardcore gear and an attack helicopter within five minutes of your first sign-on. It isn't going to happen. If you want good stuff, your going to have to put in some time to get it. Believe us, the stuff is there if you can survive long enough to find it.

Looking for a new server? Check us out.

We're looking for some players. Come check us out and make our server your home.

As a DayZ veteran since the mod first came out, I would say the settings on our server are not easy, but certainly not hard. No, you aren't going to have a chopper and a full, military-grade loadout five minutes after you log in. If you put in the time though there's plenty of loot to be had.

We've made a few modifications, enough to where we can't be called 'Vanilla'. Vehicles and new spawn loadout are examples. These are concessions we've made with newer DayZ players in mind. But, the majority of our server runs 'out-of-the-box'. So, no, we aren't Vanilla, but we're not far off either.

Zedland is a great server, basically vanilla but with a few more vehicles; I think its like 7 choppers and 48 cars/bikes/atvs. It has a good crowd of regular players, and daylight until 3:00 am US central time; which makes it great for late night gaming when most other servers get dark at 11:00.

Thanks, Tex! It was good you see you back on this weekend. Hope we see more of you moving forward. You're one of the players who help make things interesting.

Cheers!

Looking for some players to join the fray. Why not give us a shot this weekend?

Lots of vehicles and plenty of good loot, if you know where to look (neither will spawn at your feet).

There are many 'friendly' players, but also a few good bandits who will shoot first and ask questions later.

But then, what fun is it to go into a big town or one of the airfields without wondering if you're being marked?

Cherno, Elektro, and the NWAF are as dangerous as they ever were when the player count is high.

And, of course, we've got zeds.

Zeds for miles, zeds for days. Plenty of zeds for you to kill.

We took Vanilla and added just a bit of spice. Check us out! The more the merrier!

Great action on the server on Friday night including a most excellent take down of one of the top bandits on the server!

I'm not sure if it's just part of playing the mod or not, but the biplane should probably be reset.

I crashed in on Pik Kozlova, and it should have been destroyed by the contact with the trees, but somehow it's fine.  It's just lodged in the trees.  The only reason I bring it up is because it's such a common location that it won't likely get left alone for seven days.

Phase - You never know. Some ID 10 T might try to fly it out and wreck it / destroy it. In fact, I'm sure someone eventually will. If you want it to respawn, sounds like you have a mission to finish the job (destroy it).

Calling all other DayZ mod players! Come check us out. We're not a vanilla server, but the differences are minor and intended to help new players.

How long can you survive? If the zombies don't get you the bandits might. We're wide open this weekend and looking for more players to join us.

Our server has no rules about base raiding. If you find a base and can break into it, or just decide to trash it ... have at it!!! Anything goes. You won't get a ban for emptying someone's base and/or trashing it. The only thing you'll have to worry about is dealing with whoever the base belonged to if they find out it was you who took / trashed their stuff.

Same thing with vehicles. No one truly 'owns' anything on our server. If you find it it's yours if you want it. The question is are you good enough to keep it? If you take a vehicle someone else was using, it's that player you have to worry about, not the admins...

Jump on in this weekend if you're looking for a new place to play DayZ Mod.

Added AK to new spawn loot. I was against it, but we had new players and veterans alike suggesting we give better gear at the start. You get a map too (hope you can actually read it for real though, plotting is off. You'll need a GPS for that).

If you're a new player, check our server out. We typically have lower player count than some of the other, more well established servers (though we hope to change that as time goes on). It's a good time to come in on the ground floor, get yourself established. Lighter population means you don't have to worry about being sniped or killed on-sight by some twitchy noob as much. Just don't get too comfortable. We do have bandits on our server too... The kind that shoot first and then ... well, for most it doesn't matter what's after...

Come check us out.

The weekend is here ... and so are the zombies. The bandits and snipers have been waiting all week for a shot at you. Can you avoid them? Or, better yet, can you take one of them down?

Join us and let's see what you've got!

Inviting all DayZ players. Please note: This is plain jane DayZ. Not Epoch. Not Overpoch. You aren't going to spawn in, trip over two or three cars on the way to your attack helicopter and have full military grade gear in under ten minutes. Don't waste your time if that's what you're expecting. And, our Zeds will mess you up (if you let them).

We are not a Vanilla server though, because we DO have more vehicles available (about 55, give or take) and you do spawn with some better items. Most of the other settings are out of the box DayZ settings.

The standard DayZ Mod does have base building features. You can build walls and gates, for example. But, there are no rules on base raiding or trashing. So, choose your location and layouts wisely. If someone finds your stuff and wants to trash or take it, the only thing that's stopping them is you ... if you happen to be there to do so.

Peace out!

Good crowd on last night and some decent action around Cherno and Elektro. That's pretty much what happens in those towns when the player count climbs. Join us for some more fun tonight!!!
