Oh thank god the rubberbanding is fixed. That was making me consider rage quiting.

Time to wait for Steam to push this bad boy out!

Now the update is out I wish you hadn't tried to fix the rubberbanding, it is 20x worse.

how about server/client version check, so we don't join outdated server and f our characters up?

Does this mean that items will stop disappearing when I drop them? Hate having to wait for that medkit to come back before I can take my stuff out of it! lol!

Doesn't dead player clean up over time go against painting the long term story of what has happened on the server? At least per restart...

Rubberbanding, as I understand it, is where you run for a while - then get teleported back.

 

It can be as small as a couple of steps - or as much as an entire ten minute run... Which happened to me four times today.

 

Very happy with this update.

Also: Rubberbanding is I guess when your character teleports back to some previous position on the map, because of server desync?

 

I hope spawns on the East coast are getting ironed out to be more numerous?

Yea, I hope they last at least the 4 hours between restarts? Would be nice if it was even longer, but I could see how it would be a server load.
