In my opinion, this will be on the edge. If You put everything on low, then You probably will be fine, but it's less than perfect. Maybe wait a day or two for some more performance reviews or wait for someone to share their fps with smiliar system.

You can answer this question anytime.

https://store.bistudio.com/dayz

System requirements can be found close to the bottom of that page.

Those specs have no relation to the game being playable.

The Minimum Spec quoted will give a horrible game experience.

The Recommended Spec is for a mid-range 2011 gaming machine and will be barely playable at Medium graphics settings.

At the moment DayZ standalone does not like AMD CPUs very much. I run it on the same CPU as you and get low fps

As this game is in Early Acces i don't want to blame the devs about anything,i just tought starting a topic about the overall game performance would be awesome for people ready to buy the game. My computer is probably in the middle of the range, stats:

AMD Athlon II X4 641 @ 2.8Ghz

4GB DDR3 RAM @ 1333Mhz

AMD Radeon HD7770 Ghz Edition

64bit Windows 7

1280x1024

Very Low

30-40 FPS

Now in steam the recommended system requirements are near my stats, but i can get over 30 FPS only if i set the game to Very Low. Probably the devs should edit the requirements and set the recommended(currently) as minimal and some hardcore hardware to be the recommended.

So i think it would be great for the community if you guys could post how your pc performs, here is a quick example to keep the topic clean:

CPU: Brand|Type|Ghz

RAM: Amount|Type|Mhz

GPU: Brand|Type

OS: Bit|Type

RES: Width x Height

Preset: Very Low/Low/Normal/High/Very High or custom with stats

FPS: ???

I agree with you to be honest. Bohemia's idea of recommended graphics is like 20fps average which is crazy, and a minimum PC would struggle to run it at 15 fps. That's far from ideal, and often unplayable. My backup PC, which I've been using due to the fact that I'm away from home for 2 weeks, is well above the recommended, with a FX-6100, 8gb 1600mhz memory and a GTX 560ti OC'd. Yet I get about 20fps average in cities, sometimes dropping to 15, and about 30-35 in fields and forests all on very low-normal graphics. Not to say I'm complaining, because I'm used to it after years of Arma now, but I'd personally say that it's borderline minimum for DayZ

Do you think I can get more FPS after the Alpha?

CPU: AMD A8 4500m APU 1.9ghz (2.3 overclocked)

Graphics card: Radeon HD 7640G GPU

I can run SA on High (with AA Vsync and all that disabled) at around 27-30 fps, In cherno/big towns it can dip down to 20, but not too often.

Whats wrong with it?

My specs:

i5-4670K @ 4.00 GHz

16GB RAM

Nvidia GTX 465

120GB SSD

and i cant get more than 20 fps, yes, right, 20 fps, even with all at minimum.

I got Arma III and i can run it perfectly with high graphics.

I hope this is because of optimization, but its kinda frustrating that i paid 25€ and i cant even play it properly.
