What is new: fixed another very common client memory crash + related optimizations fixed official/community servers to display in proper tab in server browser (you can't see it now, but it will be visible on the Stable branch later) tweaked vehicle behavior on dirt roads fixed an incorrect sedan spawning location Did you have any game crash or bug?   6. DayZ DMG Question

    So, I've been playing DayZ since release and I don't think I have encountered something quite like this prior. I was playing on a private hive server, and I will note that the server was having a lot of desynchronization issues. I freshly spawned and met up with friends fairly quick. I was only yellow hungry and haven't taken any damage. Another fresh spawn came over to me with no melee weapons, just fists. Boom. instantaneously dead in one hit to the head. I figured "oh okay maybe luck I'm not sure." The same exact thing happened again two other times with no damage taken prior. This next part is more likely realistic in the case of my death. I was shot in the leg (with healthy status) with what I believe was a .308 and died instantaneously yet again. (I would also like to note that in all those 4 times that I died I did not ragdoll, it played a death animation or possibly the unconscious animation). Does anyone know whether or not this was a desync issue or some form of mishap/bad luck? Thank you.

  9. Hello guys, I am looking for a queue crash that we are not able to reproduce. We know it is happening when player waits in queue and game crashes on connecting to server. Repro steps: 1. Find a full server. 2. Connect to queue. 3. Wait till loading to server. 4. Client crashes. If it is happen to you, we really need your crash dumps.     Hello Survivors, Today's maintenance was prolonged because of new Stable update. What is new today: Tweaks to persistence behavior of destroyed vehicles. The goal here is to prevent destroyed vehicles from blocking the spawns of new ones. Slight improvements in vehicle and throwing physics. Tweaks of vehicles behavior with/without wheels (sliding, driving without all wheels). Wolf pelts can be tanned. Tweaks to login process which should limit occurrences of player stuck on connecting screen. Fixes for animals stuck in animation after dying. Security update. We're still working on improving server performance, which when poor can cause the following issues: Infected reaction speed may be reduced.     Hello guys. We are sending version from Experimental branch to Stable branch now. What is new: Fix for the most common server crashes Fix for apparently reocurred missing body parts Fixes for proper persistence of tents Tweaked infected seeing/hearing, should be slightly nerfed Fireplaces can be placed in houses. Thunder and lightning should not be appearing randomly on the sky anymore. I will be grateful for any feedback. It could help a lot. Thank you.

  25. Okay so I have been away for a long time dealing with school and such and I have not payed a drop of attention about what has been happening with DayZ (I even stopped working on the wikia). Since graduation I've been reading about all the changes, like what I've seen and have even spent some time playing on stable. My question is... Does anyone know what the current state of persistence is for everything? I'm talking Vehicles, Barrels, Tents, Backpacks, Items on the ground etc.
