  1. Xbox/PC account cross-over.

Hi guys, as an avid DayZ fan myself, I've been around since DayZ mod was first released by Dean Hall and then when DayZ Standalone came out I was buzzed but I realised my PC wasn't good enough to run it perfectly but none the lessential I played it. Looking at DayZ now it's coming to consoles and I think it's just fair that for all the people who purchased the Early Alpha/Game Preview version of DayZ on PC should get if for free on Xbox, seeing as we've been there from the start. I don't see the point in me paying money for the same game twice?
  2. Because I really wanna buy it Heres my PC Core 2 Duo 8400 @3.00ghz 8GB of DDR3 RAM 64BIT GTX 750 2GB WINDOWS 10

  4. Recommendations For A PC

I need recommendations for a pc that can run Dayz Standalone. I'm on a 1500$ budget. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.
  5. Ive been watching people play this game for about 4 years or so all the way back to the mod and I am finally at the point of getting a computer capable of running it and playing the game, but i really know nothing about what to get or building a pc... there seems to be some conflict online as the minimum requirements to run DayZ... I dont really want to have to build. its not that i couldnt, I would just prefer to purchase something at a nice price under 5 hundred bucks that i would be able to plug in and just start playing on. I am also planning on doing content creation on youtube, running sony vegas... etc... and maybe streaming eventually. Ive been looking around online and I think I have narrowed my selections down to three choices, though if someone else wants to reccomend an out of the box ready to go machine at a cheap price I would gladly welcome it. The three computers my eyes are on are: https://www.google.com/shopping/product/15188106930899739063?q=desktop+computer&biw=1024&bih=608&bav=on.2,or.r_cp.&bvm=bv.132479545,d.dmo&tch=1&ech=1&psi=W0_YV4uoGMnqed3OlZgL.1473793885134.13&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiIp-yliY3PAhVMPT4KHZNoA-wQrRIISw http://www.storenvy.com/products/17585507-gaming-asus-rog-gl752vw-t4015d?gclid=CLCfmfOHjc8CFRY2gQodvYMFzQ and... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883229285 any advice out of the three would be welcomed and appreciated. and again.. i would like to stay under 500 bucks. Cheaper the better as I would probably not be playing that much or anything. just casually.
  6. Hey i am new to DayZ, and i was wondering if anybody knows the best possible video settings for the Nvidia Geforce 920m graphics card, it seems laggy or skipping frames when i look around, any help would be much appircated!!!!!
  7. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=92916900 One of my favorite "never finished" a la minecraft indy games... it is the story of how you die in a post apocalyptic, zombie infested world. I've heard Rocket mention the game in interviews, and honestly I think anyone who digs DayZ would like this game... well anyone who is into the survival part more than the sniping noobs part. I actually own the game (paid money) but would do so again if it came to steam to support these guys, it is a ton of fun.

  9. I haven't played this gamne since last summer, so it has been awhile. I was able to use my controller for most everything in the game and now all I can do is move around and look around. I can't pick anything up or anthing else. Basically just use the analog sticks. Did something happen that I don't know about or am I suppose to do something to get the controller to work properly again?

  11. SOME INFORMATION Hello, this is my first post on these forums. I'm gonna be honest with you, I made my account hoping for some help from the community. I'm a big fan of survival games in general, so of course I was very excited for the release of DayZ. I bought it as soon as it came out and managed to play it for 10 hours (with about 10 fps at all times) but then I started getting FPS drops at the main menu. I had no choice but to uninstall it and after that I didn't play it for 2 years and instead I played other games. But last weekend I got a chance to play it again on my brother's computer which is significantly better than my own. I realised that I loved the game, so I redownloaded it on my own computer, but of course it was unplayable. So therefore I want a really good PC that can handle DayZ at as high as possible settings, with 60 fps or higher. Definiately not under 50. I am also interested in ARMA 3 amongst other games (and upcoming games) so I'd like the computer to be able to hande those too (on as good as possible settings). I barely know anything about specs and such so I'd appreciate if you included the price tag and their performance. I live in Sweden, if that's important to know. Price? Try to keep it within a reasonable price range. I can't afford a computer that goes for like €3,000 ($3,395), that's simply not possible at the current state. I am willing to sacrifice some performance if it means I'll get a better price. I am thinking about €1,500 ($1,700) - €1,700 ($1,925) but I might be able to pay up to €2,000 ($2,265), but anything above is gonna be tough. I appreciate any help I can get! Thanks :)
  12. Hello all, im looking to build myself a gaming pc. My budget is $1750. I hope to get max fps and graphics out of this pc that can run any games (like dayz) and my monitor is 1080px1920. Would anyone be able to help me find the best parts for this pc? I was leaning towards "i7 4970k" for CPU and the "Zotac GTX 980 Ti" for GPU. Any thoughts? Thank you :)

I am currently trying to setup DayZ for a friend via teamview. for the past 2 days we have come across problem after problem and i cant take it anymore! please someone help He has purchased combined operations ON DISK. So it is not run through steam. I haave installeed both operation arrow and arma 2, updated to the latest combined operations patch, updated Dayzcommander. we came across an error code: Addon 'Dayz_anim' requires addon 'CA_dubbing_counterattack' i fixed this error code by pasting the addon folder from arma 2 to OA. im not sure if it was the correct folder as in the tutorial i watched the addons folder was 1.5gig and the addons folder in my arma 2 folder is 8gig. Once i pasted the folder in OA i ran dayz through commander and was met with yet another error. ERROR: Addon CA_communityconfigurationProject_E Requires Addon. CA_AIR_E_MQ9PredatorB. 17. Help me for launch game

It throws an error when you start the game. Help pls.
  18. PLS! Change everything on the map. Chernarus is ridiculous for a zombie apocalypse. The buildings are too small, the player stumbles upon all the furniture, walls, doors . DayZ Super market: When you enter, you will stumble upon all shelves, it is difficult to access the only door to the store and there is a very small building, You can loot in less than 30 seconds. Others survival games super Market: In this supermarket, you can run without tripping over the furniture, you can easily fight against zombies. It has two plants, It's big, dark and you spend much time exploring. Houses, schools , hospitals ... Everything feels ridiculously small in DayZ and is very uncomfortable to play. I could spend all day naming ridiculously small buildings in DayZ . But the message is clear . Many people think like me and many people stop playing DayZ for this reason.
  19. Hey guys. Im considering buying a few games but don't know if they will run on my PC. Ive never had a problem with this before, but I usually have to lower the graphics to medium or medium/high for it to run consistently at 40FPS or higher. Anyway, below is my specs and list of games that do run fine on it. Specs: CPU: Intel Core i3 4010U 1.7Ghz GPU: Intel HD 4400 Gaming graphics RAM: 6GB RES: 1366x768 Hard Drive: 500GB Games played on this PC: Call of Duty MW2 (ultra settings) Chivalry: Medieval Warfare (medium settings) DayZ Standalone (medium/high settings) Defiance (high settings) FTL: Faster Than Light (ultra settings) Gmod (ultra) H1Z1 (low/medium) Homefront (high/ultra) Planetside 2 (medium/low) Star Wars Battlefront 2 (ultra) TF2 (ultra) Warframe (high) I know my specs are very close to the recommended or even minimum for the 3 games listed in the title, but there are several games in the list above that I don't even meet the minimum requirements for. Any help is appreciated, serious answers/comments only please.
  20. Military Madness!

Hey guys and girls i made yet another video! This time me and my friend stalk a dude at Veresnik hill that shot at us. Only one person came out at the end... Also some Feedback would be nice :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pZF82MpcmVw
  21. Hee guys! My name is Sebastian, If bought the game DayZ Standalone. But the problem i have is that after like 5-10 minutes i get really weird texture bugs! My character loses a part of his shirt behind his arm pits. Also the houses and trees look really bad, and if im in the house its transparant. I could't find any screenshots on the internet unfortunly. Oh and btw, when i have this my fps also drops to 4-5. So i heard that this will fixed when i get 64-bit system? MY SPECS: CPU = AMD FX-6300 Six Core Proccesor GPU = AMD Radeon R9 200 Series Windows 7 32-bit 8GB RAM If you guys have an awnser pleas tell me!
  22. So, Arma 2 and 3 are on sale on steam. I have been watching DayZ videos obsessively, and I have decided to get it. But first, I have a few questions. 1. Can an Arma 2 client play on an Arma 3 server in DayZ? So, say I didn't want to pay for Arma 3, but I had Arma 2, could I play on the same servers as the Arma 3 people? 2. Servers aside, are the performance optimizations really worth it in Arma 3? For the extra $30 on top of Arma 2 OA, it is really that good? 3. I have done some research, and I hear that you need Arma 2 to play DayZ on Arma 3, (they use the same assets of something?). Is this true? I am talking about the official mod. (Side note, is this true of other mods such as epoch, origins, etc)? 4. Here are my specs CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550, 2.8 GHz. GPU: AMD Radeon 6870, 1gb vram SSD: Yes, Samsung 840 evo. RAM: 8gb ddr2 800Mhz PSU: 600W OS: Windows 7 What kind of performance will I get with this? 5. Standalone vs. Mod. Does the mod still have players? I honestly would like to play something based on Arma rather than something in development. Is there still a community for the mod? Thanks, If I can get some help that would be great, I am a complete noob here.
  23. Hi guys. This is a very serious question and I really need a detailed explanation of why DayZ Standalone version is not on for the Mac? This seems to bother me a lot because yes, we do have many PC gamers in the world, but some people already have the Mac and wants to play the game and not spend another $1000 (less or more depending on what you get) for a PC computer. I do not want to bootcamp my mac since I feel insecure about it (ex. if it breaks on me, what happens next?). I really want to know why and please, if the one of you guys are working on the game, please tell me so I have a clear understanding of what is going on. If anyone knows, that would be fine too, but be mature since I am very serious about it. Thank you for your cooperation. Hope I can find some answers.
