    Anyway right now on experimental I use the MP5 suppressed, but the infected are a joke and acting pretty weird lately.

    Oh, and I fix my suppressors when they get to "badly damaged" with a gun cleaning kit, they then go back to "worn".

    I use suppressed pistol and they don't aggro as much as you say. The infected slowly make their way towards the shots, but only in a certain radius around you, not the entire town. 

    Suppressed rifle is another deal though. 

    There are currently mods that make them more efficient, so in the mean time we can use this workaround.

    Also this thread, and most threads, need to be cleaned. I miss the time when the mods were doing a fantastic job on the forums.

    Using the mic is useless, theres literally no punishment for killing other players, Zombies are easy to handle, unless they lock you in a corner or swarm you on a field. 

    "It's the game" i know, but when 100% shoot on sight it isn't fun to play at all. Trying to be friendly allways turns out badly.
    oh how i long for that first summer when killing other players came after trying to survive, most were friendly and you could spot bandits a mile away.

    There used to be a good experimental crew back in the days....

  4. Naaaaahhh.    Books and bows are priority. Don't care about physics. This is DayZ.  After more than 3500 hours and playing the game since it first came out, books should come back first.

    In fact, everything we had before should make a comeback, like most of it making it's comeback through the modding community. I feel like Bohemia handed the biggest part of the job to the modders. Playing on modded servers is refreshing and makes the experience much more varied. It feels weird to see old items and mechanics making their way back into the game via the mods instead of the official branch.

    Still...   First thing that should comeback is fishing.

    He was simply trying to warn us that the game would never get finished, at least not the way it was meant to.

    I love DayZ, but I'm sad it came to this.


  6. Survivor gameZ have been out since before PUBG and all of those...  

    It's just being more fleshed out. Survivor gameZ have been held in DayZ since the mod, and when the stand  alone came out in early access alpha. 

    It's nothing new people, it's just more polished and with some publicity, which was done internally initially.

  7. Ouch. I really thought you had learned from passed mistake. My first idea was to warn you on the experimental forums NOT to push the patch on stable, and wait till the major bugs were fixed, but it seems you were to careless, and pushed it too fast. The main game breaking issues that were on experimental branch are STILL in the stable version.

     

    Big mistake guys, come on!!! Never ever thought I was going to say this, but the big supporters and dedicated players that were here since day one, that all seem to have left now, well I'm starting to understand why.

    They say humans learn from past mistake, I say they never learn and keep making them.

  8. Quick question. I've seen a few posts about the server menu still appearing when in-game, and personally it's the menu itself. 

    Any way to get rid of it??

    edit: It's the server menu too, simply go to it to select the server instead of hitting "play".

Not that it isn't nice to have them fixed. But there's hundreds of posts about locks and cars. So many nice little details around the game that often gets no attention at all.

     

    For those of us with thousands of hours, that has been here from the start, the code locks and vehicles are important. 

    Yes, those little details are a nice comeback, but let's not forget that we had access to those a few years ago, and the major changes/switches of the player controller, engine and scripts removed those assets/mechanics from the game. They are back, ok, it's cool.

    But vehicles and code locks worked great in 1.02 and I had completely fixed and used about 15 vehicles. I don't build bases, but the community servers I play on all make use of them, and are a priority for them. Using mods is an alternative, not a fix.

  10. Any news about the combination lock fix? Also, since 1.03 the vehicles move around or straight up despawn/respawn after a server restart. Wasn't like that at all in 1.02. Nice to see quick fixes. Keep it up! But Baty, would you care to share about the most pressing issues? Thanks! Cheers!
