Yea there should never be safe zones (non pvp areas) in this game that would really change the dynamics of the game and ruin realism. But as for the other idea , if there were a bunch of "military defended survivor outposts" , it would add a lot more apocalypseness to the map and give a lot more Lore to the story and an awesome spot on the map to try and barricade or defend . Or just loot the shit out of and get out asap cuz I expect these outposts to be overrun with many zombies and have a good chance of spawning medium - high end military loot;0

I think the whole idea of this KO punch is that you have to be running to achieve the one hit knockout , it doesn't happen often when someone's just constantly pinching you , because if you have any sense you should have run away after the first punch to the head haha. But I've always wanted them to add a drop kick feature or a tackle move instead of having the punch be a knockout , that way you can still fight with your fists but could use this tackle or drop kick move to knock someone down , it's tricky to put something like that in I'm sure but would defly be better than the KO punch

That is all hahaha (it's late and I'm bored) Still I say NO Pve until private hive control debate is figured out also it won't happen until environmental disasters, base building ,vehicles and zombie hordes are implemented because like ass hat in the quote said, it's pointless to have Pve the way dayz is now .

Ok guys were done here , move on me now . I would like to see more things with attributes though , like sunglasses actually blocking sun , plate armor that could act as flak jackets ( or maybe just add flak jackets) to prevent shrapnel or small arms at certain ranges . See like the ballistic helmet these actually have real life attributes , not random rpg +1 strength kind of thing.

This ^^ dayz has an economy just like any other game , overly configurable control panels for server owners will lead to biasing the game in a direction the devs (dean / Bohemia interactive ) didn't plan on . As an example , vehicles come out and lets say someone owns a server and it them put 500 vehicles and 2 times the amount of loot and replaces common loot with military ( dunno if this would ever be possible , but it's just an extreme example ) this would unbalance the game to where it truly is a combat simulator again , Instead of the "zombie simulator " the devs were hoping for . So I get it , video game buyers want their game to be configured any way they like if they also pay extra for a server , but this is an age of new experiences and opportunities , but just because we have a great game like dayz that allows us to rent our own servers , and a fat pocket full of cash , doesn't mean we deserve to change it to a tee. Like Said above video games have economies of sorts and to change what a game is about ( amount of vehicles , amount/ quality and quantity of loot ) is to change the game , Not to mention the admin abuse as stated in quote .Maybe waaaaay down the line like in 2 years they should do this if they need a to renew interest in dayz If people somehow lose interest but as for right now or in the near future we don't need this

You'd have to sling it for 2 weeks. Then your doctor tells you you need a cast . You choose black color with dinosaurs , mom loves it . After ~ 2 months irl time you upgrade to walking cast and after this process rage quit dayz. But seriously that's probly why he (rocket) chose to use morphine healing broken legs, instead of splints . Although to improve realism we could have craftable/medical splints , they would take lets say 30 mins of real time of Hobbling around with the leg splint on to finally heal your bone to the point of walking normally again. so to avoid annoyance after you apply the splint you can walk at 35% speed then after 30 mins your character takes the splint off again and is finally healed , maybe the morphine could help you to run faster when you have a broken splinted leg ?

My first idea was of wooden boards that you could use to board up windows and doors like the original poster said , this should be level one "building". Higher level building would be mining caves / constructing tree huts or mud huts. The last level that would be put in the game last I assume , would be to build a full blown cabin , but they NEED to be destructible by fire/ axes so people don't plague servers with a bunch of structures . and the bigger structures would be built in complex stages with many materials involved, maybe you'd also have to level the ground so your structure doesn't topple haha I know the devs aren't going to settle for anything simple .( which Is a good thing , we don't want epoch OR origins style building in my opinion). And lastly we need locks like pad locks or just a gate that can be built that is already locked , maybe an upgrade system to doors/ gates that gives them locks after a certain amount of upgrades.

Oh and also , night vision should definitely be added , only the goggles would be very rare and the night vision attachments for guns would be close to almost impossible to find , seeing as it takes a lot of technology to put one together .

This would be awesome , all we need are Jerry cans again , and a fuel tank and generators , the generators would need parts to upkeep and LOTS of gas .for it to power a whole town for lets say a real life day , it would take five or so Jerry cans per generator and for a city Cherno sized you'd need like five generators maybe ten . Eventually the generators could be used to lower other things like excavation lights that can be moved around or some shit like power equipment when building comes into play :9

LONG RANGE SCOPE( I don't care if kids can no scope all day with the sks , it is a rifle and therefore deserves a chance to be scoped ) suppressors for sure , and definitely red dot aight for automatic rifles , maybe not the sks though , on second thought red dot should be attachable to anything .

I really like this for the weapons aspect , just imagine the gun you neglected to upkeep , jamming on you right as youre about to cap someone from behind. They hear Your assassination attempt and turn around and then a bad ass knife fight ensues hahah

I really want isles and caves , also gorges/ canyons .. Lots of cliffs should be at the south instead of just some beaches ... We need islands eventually too . And a sewer system :)!

All good ideas , I would love to see them Implemented . Unfortunately this has been suggested before and the devs will most likely add this stuff waaay later :( but in about six months or so I can definitely see these ideas/features start to come into the game , because by then mostly all the architecture / server / loot / zombies problems will be fixed , and apparently dean has slated the updates for barricades and vehicles within the next six months as Long as everything goes as planned . Long run-on sentence finally being said , these features could defly ( in my opinion ) be added after the six months of updates and engine fixes said to come .

This post Is ridiculous for one reason : Anerican guns are found and collected everywhere mang to say not one would be in Russia is redonkytonk haha but if it were found rarely in Russia , then it would naturally be rare in the loot spawn , and Id personally want a lil bit more of a badass gun if its so rare , m1 s alright though

I'd definitely opt for this IF : the zombies came in massive hordes and were more dangerous , especially at night , if there were barricades and something more to do than just kill and loot and , lastly there would have to be environmental dangers like carnivorous animals , savage ai military or mutants or some shit and definitely would need environmental disasters like hurricanes , avalanche when there's snow and tornadoes if that even happens in Russia haha. The last few are a stretch but for Pve to work in a game like dayz it needs a lot more than what it has now ... Think of running arohnd Cherno and not bein able to fight anything except for zombies ... BORING! So if this were to happen the game would have to have a lot of factors besides tough zombies that make it worth playing ... Maybe base building as well to make a little variety from killing Looting and surviving

I think it's a great idea and should make an appearance soon , even if people think its "pointless" (which extra space is never pointless but whatever ) it still can be a great accessory for looks

Yes they are making an over the shoulder carrying system. Or so I've heard , maybe it's a rumour but we need this very soon to help comrades and carry enemies who are handcuffed !!!

Definitely like the idea but can be tricky to implement , I don't want the zombies being too good at noticing me and I don't want annoying buttons that aggro zombies no matter what. All we need is some kind of loud can chain that you can throw for getting zombies attention ,but this seems like a minor addition compared to other things that could be added first

I'm pretty sure they are planning on making the gore and zombie apocalypseness way more prevalent in the patches way down the road . They might do this dead last though unfortunately , cuz I love the look of the walking dead and their zombies and always wanted those to be implemented in the game but because of the zombie lore set up in dayz , they technically aren't undead so they wouldn't look very decayed , but who says they cant be bloody right ? As for scenery I would love to see more body piles , maybe some on fire or some decaying buildings with overgrowth of weeds all over it .. But these changes will happen in time I'm sure they are just trying to work out architecture and server problems while at the same time adding small stuff like new weapons and items

Definitely need regular bow and arrow. , not just crossbow . That way we could make our own quivers and arrows and be badassly stealthy .

Swat / STOP team outfits , ninja outfit ( in different colors of course) , maybe just to be ridiculous chain mail or some sort of outfit that is partly made out of knights armor ? Lawl then obviously more practical regular clothing choices. .

Ya definitely a fun idea for down the road a bit .

I love detail and everything but I think this might be too much , especially if it was on an ever decreasing tuner like hunger and thirst .
