20 regular and 8 hardcore by my count , I have my ping set to 99,999 and i waited a good three minutes for all of them to show up ..

I love these day night transitions now , I love seeing the new looks of the lighting too it's truly amazing on the ol '30 inch screen... I'm waiting in a server right now inside an apartment .,. It's night and I'm ready for somebody to try and take this house by force haha can't wait for barricades and hunting if something this smalls got me this excited ..good looks devZ.

Anyone wanna help an old dirty bastard on how to throw items ? Lawl I've been trying to throw rotten bell peppers , long story short I just end up eating them ... =P also it seems zombie bodies are staying longer after being killed ? Can someone confirm this is happening on experimental (what I saw it on ) or am I just crack baby ? Edit : thanks To raebuluz' video I learned throwing lawl but still anyone know if zombie bodies are remaining longer than before ? I've only found and killed one thus far too try it..

Yes and if it's a single door you can tie it to another doorknob (if applicable lawl) or heavy object or whatevs. I'm definitely down for more ways to barricade when that arrives..

Ya no npc transmissions please , but there has already been a lot of talk about player controllable radio stations (like ones you would be broadcasting this message from ) which would defly add a new "hot spot " to the map , but im sure thats far down the road ,.. but don't forget mang that the game isn't even 1/4 done, all the lore and "scary stuff" should come around beta IMO cuz the way I see it id rather have the whole dev team working on server issues , lag/Desync glitches and the optimizations for more zombies and people per server before any of the finishing touches, so to speak , are added .

Lawl it's so funny seeing what people were complaining about when the alpha started, cuz now the decision to use chernarus isn't a topic of debate at all . People just need somethin to complain about in their lives I guess ... Someone from tha past gimme a holla' !

My cuz had the same problem , he closed his antivirus and took down his firewall til restart , but if you've already done both and have been troubleshooting correctly then I'm not sure either sorry mate .. but like I said my cuz disabled kaspersky anti virus and took down his firewall and it worked for him , he has windows 8 also which I thought was the problem ... Edit : also my cousin first stopped his antivirus via the task bar in the bottom right but he noticed deep within his task manager that his antivirus was still running protection from incoming connections, so check the task manager processes as well, for your antivirus , I know that's common sense but somehow i feel this is the same as my cousins issue ..

This. Just this . For all you out there complaining just read this . And if that doesn't satisfy you then kindly Gtfo and go find another game cuz you can't always get what you want when you want it.Besides great things take time , regardless of how long it took to get to this point were at now , there should be no complaining considering you were told not to buy the game in its current state. also there are plenty of other games or things to do on this earth so go do that instead of givin yourself tumors from stressing over this game, if you're "such upset" with it or if you think you could make a better game or manage one better then maybe you should make a career in gaming instead of playing and complaining about them . =^O.. Edit : dayz dev tumblr is probly the best place to see what's coming next. (Not necessarily to see what's on the next patch ) . and the "news and announcements" on the forums is best to find patch notes . That might sound obvious But people seem to think whenever a "new experimental" version number shows that the devs have to write a patch notes for it , this is absurd because many updates contain nothing but small fixes , barely even able to be called hot fixes. So when you see new experimental version number out , but no patch notes, know that there is NOTHING NEW on it, don't just assume that this must be a new patch and the devs just don't wanna make new patch notes , c'mon guys ...

Just checked out the dayz dev tumblr... For all those complaining about updates this next one (or couple ) will feature some amazing stuff .. Just check the link that bone boys dropped .

Yes please , while I get the whole "one shirt" thing , layering is essential for homeless living ... Let us have layers!!! Shirts under sweatshirts (in Russia, shirt wear you !) shirts under tracksuits , hell we should even be able to wear multiple t-shirts (so long as they don't have spots to put items in them cuz that would present some kind of loot stacking problem ) . ShirtZ .

An interesting idea but you can pretend your buds are your family ;) ... Besides once hunting, temperature system, barricading, building, restoring power via generators and constant storage + vehicles are in there will be no "getting bored" :)

Yes this is a good idea one suggested before but that doesn't take from it's merit ... Maybe if we get a bunch of people to like and support this new thread the devs will think of addin the sounds early ;)

It's a simple suggestion , one that I feel has already been suggested but I can't seem to find it ... Anyways the idea is to be able to press your ear up against a wall or door to hear voices easier . It might just be my speakers but it seems to me that I can never fully make out a conversation being had when its behind closed doors . And don't get me wrong i love the thrill of wondering what people are talking about but sometimes I like to totally take people by surprise like some crazy ass assassin , so being able to press your ear up against a door would allow you to eavesdrop on whatever they are planning ... A small suggestion and could be ruled out if it is just my speakers that don't project it well but it would for me be another one of those small additions that make a world of difference.

I'm down for more candies being added but please no toothaches I already have to get a real root canal let alone a virtual one haha .

In my opinion as Long as its not impossibly rare we really shouldn't be talkin about if the gun is native or not . Yes if people constantly are requesting the most impossible to find guns then we should eagerly deny it but c'mon guys I don't wanna see everything native to the area ... That being said I'm a double edged sword and would rather see something else in terms of unique pistols haha ... But please unless it's a freaking missle launcher lets try and sum up other reasons other than "ls it native" as to why the gun in question shouldn't be added .

Yea we definitely need this , If you guys haven't noticed , the small brown log cabin house with no loot in it has a back room (with a bear skin rug) that has a large opened window you can crawl through . I think this was the first and only window you can crawl through so far , and my idea is that when physics are intergrated a lot more windows will be opened up to jump through seeing as we will be able to properly assess how far a drop can be before legs start to break (as opposed to now where we can't even drop five feet without Breakin a leg ).

No loot is "fixed" on stable , just like others said only certain civilian buildings spawn loot that previously didnt , most houses with fireplaces (log cabins, yellow sided cabin) still don't spawn loot , I'm guessing those houses will be configured with loot for the update with fire but that's just a guess ... But the experimental loot fix you're talking about is for stress testing or something as one of the devs stated a day or two ago in the dev tracker , but yea this will be a much different game with hunting cooking and storage but it's already fun now if you find a decent server with no teleports or rubberbands ...

Honestly I believe rest should be optional , but if you do it's just another blood gaining bonus like "healthy" and "hydrated" , obviously this would be "well rested". I only say optional because some wouldn't like doing this at all but for me I love the idea of having to catch a few z's but always bein paranoid of where to do it , it makes you feel like you're truly in fear for your life like a real apocalypse survivor instead of some badass invincible pvp warrior . The rest would be activated by a button and when you press it again your character would start to wake up , with blurry eyes for a second to make for realism (but I'd say for something like this lets not make it too realistic we already sleep 1/3 of our real lives away) and obviously you wouldn't be able to hear anything around you when sleeping ..

ZEDs, honestly if the zombies acted like they should I feel a lot more people would play . I know of many low pop servers that hardly have connection or Desync errors and if the zombies were more numerous and could correctly walk through doors (and destroy doors/barricades when that arrives) then you could have hours of fun just playing with friends PVE style like it should be .

I think this would be a great addition , I suggested this on ctorchias twitter but didnt see the silver version til after. seeing as it looks civilian enough and im sure can't be an overpowered choice , and after all it inspires us westerners to keep on lookin for that cowboy carbine ;)..

I love dayz standalone , so regardless of the annoying glitches and sometimes game breaking bugs I stick with it , being patient with this game will be your best bet. Yes it sucks not being able to play with friends once in a while cuz of the many issues that seem to be floating back into the fray for no reason but everyone should realize that when these server issues are figured out (within the next two months I'm guessing ) all the promised features will start to come a lot easier. The hard parts almost over and now were in the home stretch just waiting for the client/ server issues to be full configured and good stuff ... Dayz will always be my dawg , if you wanna gift that copy I got a friend patient enough to wait for the goodZ.

Kicking would be awesome. You could kick doors down and while handcuffed deliver some sort of savage looking kick so there'd be a way to get a jump on your abducters ..
