agreed i took some time off since it had come out, the bugs back were alot easier to handle and take in, but this combat bugs is a fiasco. It is worst then it came out, i came back to check dayz out since tents seem to be in and i lost my char that still had his m4 but due to combat bug i lost it, is not that i cant manage Zs is that the attacks with melee either doesnt hit or i cant swing anymore even causing my guns not to fire anymore and yes i had ammo. thus becoming a marathon game..... it should have been the opposite, combat problems when the EA was out and more polished now. I know it is alpha and i know there will bugs but this is a setback to me..... mainly because it seems that it has been present for a couple of patches.

dont know about you, but i used to tuck in just the part with the laces in the cuffs, enough to have the movement i needed. Boot bands is option, at least it was when i was in. to the open im half with ya, only if they are not military boots.....

i chose maybe on all of them, cause there is aways that third option helping with a bullet, you never know whats actually happening in dayz lol

question on this it might be a bug but i am not sure. I i had little from the game and then had to reformat. now that i got back checking things out i run every few paces and my vision gets blurry. i searched for it in the bug tracker but nothing..... As my opinion on this, if you get heart attack while running, we should get a some vision hints that we are about to pass out or something. it will make ppl plan better on what and where they are going im alright with it.

we know that Dean is thinking of adding underground bunkers but we can assume that it will a hard commodity to have. so tents would a transition type item, even better a mobile base. Tents added flavor in the mod cause it was another source or loot, also added another element of the game, of really scouting for a good area to camp, watchout for other players even more, cause you could have a whole week of looting in your camp. wish they would make lockable to make it harder to steal, you could either knife it up or use to tools to steal the tent too....

you should check cdc studies result on the deseases, even with some type of new virus or bacteria and etc after a critical point everything stops. Cell phones and internet could be the first thing to go out depending of the type of spread and infaction. it would be due to lack of personnel. Truth is we cant know for certain, since i think the cdc simulation on Z apoc is based on infection spread and death rates. There could or could not have damage to infrastructer due to chaos. So it pretty much boils down to man power during the event and if there will be anyone with the know how to teach to deal with those things, if not it will be the next history channel topic of ancient civilazation lost tech .

no and no, i have ignored this until now. Will say this it didnt work as it should in mod it wont now. The only changes to the player is skin should be beard, hair for how long you staid alive, besides that nothing. If you keep getting yourself killed to often your doing something wrong. Up your game when you move into towns, for heavens sake do 360 degree recon has much you can with what you got before moving to scavenge. Be quiet dont waste bullets on Zombies if you can.... These player encounters is what gets the blood pumping for this game, you dont like then go player COD where you have red and blue teams, really.

100% this, the group i ran with and hope do run when SA is more per say challenging never took the suicide route unless really needed, and run looking for that hype of finding that stranger or group, to steal, get in a fire fight or day. The end game is the story you make, that being a short one (1 min) or a long one (30 days) that being you woke up on the shore went in a house looking for food and bam axe to head or Z on your face. Or logged in my camp get my supply for the day and ran across a bunch of jerks and killed them and kept that stuff, then on my way to camp i broke my leg on a twig, thats dayz for me...

this what i miss the chance of finding these little events, kinda liked what epoch did with c130 crashes and what minus the npcs but more zombies. This would be become a high risk loot cause you never know what to expect and usually was a bit nerving. The loot in those doesnt have to be high end and most of it could be civi type events (car recks, small passenger plane crash a surviver camp in the middle of woods and etc, and the heli crash)

Alright after most of the thread mainly Op´s claims i have to say that he a retired dev would have no problem what company he worked for, or even what was the project since it was canceled and if his company was only interested in the software, make a mentioned of the software. So i concluded that he is full of it. just because one person may able to write coherent assumptions about a topic doesnt mean he is what he says he is. so this is complaint that there is a lack of zombies or something? Just to clarify dayz is a pve which includes the players. since we all surviving the end of the world, players are part of it. Zombies are a work in progress as it was clearly state, and one of the crucial and hardest part to work on. To brake the news it might progress slowly, i dont care as long it is good. Now i hate how ppl say is worst or is going to be like warz, the differences are very clear, ppl just like to whine and give no real good feed back, we had some good ones when alpha came out. any way, whining about lack of content or bugy game during alpha to me is retarded.....

lol that comment goes right back at ya, if you server hop. Many ppl barely go inland theres loot there too you know, this is a scavange game not a i get all loot game in 10 min. I spent 1-2 days with empty m4 and axe, went north never saw a soul until second day when got myself some goodies in NW and met a russian guy in stary offering his stuff cause he was sick......i said no thanks and got the heck out of there....

dont know why the complaint rifles dont fit in backpack, maybe the mountain, but why would want an m4 in there it will take alot of space and become useless if you are caught in a fire fight all of the sudden. the axe is different story, they might be of the same length but the axe could have the blade part out of the zipper and the handle is thin enough that wouldnt take much space. Yeah i know im going too far on the real thing. so i highlighted the more logical reason.

soooooo bottom line is..... OP needs to learn how to play better? The effect is staying bro, besides when the whole is done everybody will be most of the time greyed out lol or at least having a hard time to stay healthy. Better start learning

well not to flame but, player numbers will go up and down at this point due to be being early stage, what we got is pretty much the base core for the full game, even so is still fun. But because we dont much else to do ppl will play other stuff, mean while bugs are reported and fixed, once new things are added people come back and play, numbers go up. Heck Rocket is a gamer too i take for him to relax some he also play other games. They sold alot in just 4 weeks, so this thread is a waste of space.

dude i havent been resceted in over two weeks almost, you must be server hopping a lot. word of advice go north ppl dont go there often
