Should I stay away from huge monitors?

I would only prioritize refresh rate if you play a lot of, say, competitive FPS games, like CS:GO. In those types of games, higher refresh rate is definitely helpful.

    Windows 10 Upgrade?

You have a year to decide if you want it or not, after that AFAIK you have to pay for it. I would wait a little after it officially gets released, just in case of bugs and what not edit: and for clarification, once you upgrade it's yours forever.

    DayZ PS4 Discussion

"Pumping games out fast" usually doesn't end well What you described is exactly why BF4 was a giant piece of shit for the longest time

My CPU is 180°F (85°C) HOT!

Also that looks like a lot of dust accumulation in your case, might wanna buy a can of compressed air and blow all that out.

    CPU radiator

You could try using a sheet of paper or thin piece of cardboard, etc to push the dust out, then used compressed air on whatever's left over

    PC overheating.

Cable management + Hyper 212 Evo (comes with its own thermal paste, decent stuff) for 25 pound will work wonders

About to buy a monitor but worried about DayZ

Sorry OP for offtopicness. The engine is quite flexible and accommodates any resolution you throw at it. With bezel compensation, I just had to edit cfg to get the correct aspect ratio. Wow those are some hot screenshots, can't imagine how immersive it is to play surround + trackir

    Basic OC Question

I wouldn't ever bother overclocking on a laptop. You almost literally will not notice a difference in performance (especially for A3), it's not worth the risk

Does anyone know how to fix Beats by Dre?

You should really try the wireless first before anything else, I bet it will sound fine on that
  10. How does using a controller make you a console peasant? I don't want to drive with mouse and keyboard dammit.

    Need help any appreciated

I'm assuming the TV is 1920x1080, so size makes literally no difference. Only the TV has a shittier image because of much lower pixel density. But OP might be using a 4k TV. @OP Can you link the TV or give a name?

Any good PC builds for around 550-650 dollars?

You know even if Google had all the perfect results, which it doesn't, that's such a scummy thing to do. The OP came here asking for help with building a PC and you're basically saying "piss off and figure it out yourself". - - - - PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant CPU: Intel Core i5-4460 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor ($179.99 @ SuperBiiz) Motherboard: MSI Z97-Gaming 3 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($92.99 @ Newegg) Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($59.99 @ Newegg) Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($66.48 @ OutletPC) Video Card: XFX Radeon R9 280 3GB Double Dissipation Video Card ($169.99 @ Newegg) Case: NZXT Source 210 (Black) ATX Mid Tower Case ($29.98 @ OutletPC) Power Supply: Corsair Builder 600W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply ($54.99 @ Micro Center) Total: $654.41Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when availableGenerated by PCPartPicker 2014-12-22 14:09 EST-0500 All color coordinated and everything. First result is Alienware. Yep, definitely helpful.

I can't see how they will work out the controls and still have everything be quick and easy to access Even if they do figure that out, trying to aim accurately is going to be an absolute disaster. That's just a fundamental problem with shooter-style games and controllers
